Renault’s EZ-GO Car is the missing link between taxi cabs and public transport of the future.
EZ-GO has no steering wheel or a driver. It’s a completely autonomous robot-car aiming to re-invent the concept of shared mobility in an urban setting.
The vehicle is completely electric and eco-friendly. You can enter it full-height through frontal doors. Inside you can use Wi-Fi or interact with a city map.
The map highlights tourist attractions and leisure spots in the area. So if you don’t know where you want to go, EZ-GO will certainly try to inspire you.
Additionally, by aiming to provide mobility for all, Renault’s concept comes with a ramp for strollers and wheelchair users.
Although it is not the first robot-vehicle we’ve seen, it certainly stands out. While others try to get as compact as possible, the six-passenger EZ-GO shows that there is still some space for comfort left in the future.
