Personal Delivery Service Robot
The Personal Delivery Service Robot has been designed to deliver you food and groceries in an efficient and quick way.
They look like distant cousins of robots from WALL-E, but were also designed to try to blend in as much as possible on the streets.
They move with a pedestrian speed, and thanks to their built-in intelligence can manage to avoid obstacles, like people or objects, on their way to destination.
Even before crossing the street the delivery robots first check whether there is a vehicle approaching before taking any action.
Fully loaded they weigh around 40 pounds and only the person, who ordered the goods, can open them up at the end of their delivery trip.
The meal is promised to be delivered in 5-30 minutes and you can track its location on your smartphone to be completely sure, that nothing has happened to it.
Tons of orders are already dispatched in dozens of cities, so maybe the sci-fi future is actually already knocking on our doors.
