This Toilet Seat Lifting Pedal can lift the toilet seat for you right up. No need to actually touch the toilet or bend down.
My question is, how is this not a thing on every toilet. Lifting the toilet seat up is gross, can be hard for those with back problems, and it always starts the never ending debate of “Who left the toilet seat up”.
This pedal is brilliant but simple, as most brilliant things are.
Just attach it to both the toilet seat and the floor. As soon as you step on the floor pedal, it will lift the seat up allowing you to get to business with your hands clean.
No need to say that it is extremely easy to use. It can come in handy for both seniors with back issues or kids who tend to “forget” to wash their hands.
If this pedal seems too bulky for you, there’s another version of it. Instead of a plastic arm, it uses a string mechanism to lift the seat.
You could argue that it will take up a little bit less space in your bathroom. So, seriously, how is this not a thing?
